My name is Paulette Brooks and I am a Graphic Designer.


Identity Concepts Design came into being in early 2011, fulfilling my desire to become an independent freelancer, focusing on Packaging Design, Logos/Branding and Marketing Collateral Design. My clients are local, nationwide and worldwide – from the small start-up company who

needs a logo, to the upper Fortune 500 giants who

need help with brand extension.

Professional, Versatile Designer

Extensive experience in consumer packaging design. In-depth knowledge of printing methods and substrates, federal packaging regulations and layout guidelines allowing for intuitive end-result design. Experience in development and evolution of brand identity. Able to integrate and maintain consistency with line extension design. Full understanding of brand design hierarchy yielding clear communication to the consumer. Able to understand and interpret client's wishes resulting in concise solutions.

Highly Skilled Production Artist

Ability to recognize and interpret production issues with foresight and corrective imagination. High level knowledge of art file specifications for production methods including flexography, offset lithography and gravure. Eagle-eye review and adhesion to standards yielding tight final layouts for production. Able to initiate and manage pre-press communication with vendors and clients.

Specialties

Expert in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Skilled in a variety of illustration styles, both creative and technical.
